Don’t be a scaredy cat! So many treats are safe and affordable!
First things, first- all items at this event must be vegan- that means no dairy or animal products on the label. There are hundreds of very common candies and other treats which are already vegan, so don’t stress about having a hard time finding something to bring. It’ll be easy! Non Food Treats. These can be purchased locally at stores like Walmart and Dollar Tree, or shop online at places like Oriental Trading or Amazon: pencils, stickers, erasers, rings/ small toys, glowsticks, bracelets, temporary tattoos, bubbles, bouncy balls, craft items, playdough, fidget toys, etc.
Non Candy Food Treats: Fruit pouches, fruit cups (no gelatin), applesauce cups, little oranges, pretzels/ popcorn (check label), Oreos, animal crackers, etc.
Candy: We don’t want to be party poopers! Kids on restricted diets ought to be able to celebrate Halloween just like their friends- with good old fashioned candy! Here’s a quick list of vegan candies you can buy at just about any store: Sour Patch Kids, Jolly Ranchers , Original, Smarties, Dum Dums, Blow Pops, Sweet Tarts, Fun Dip, Skittles, Fireballs, Gobstoppers, Hubba Bubba, Nerds, Pez, Ring Pops.
